Big storms take out some carrots and spinach, squash

Well, it’s been a strange Spring. Unusually cold. The cucumber plants and jalepeno plants died.
We have replanted both.

Today the wind brought down an old tree into the Squash, Carrot, Basil and Spinach plots. We recovered most of it.

On the upside the total rain from last nite and today is around 3/4 “.

CSA program start dates TENTATIVELY scheduled for 3rd week in June. The latest we’ve ever had.
Will keep you posted.
