CSA Woostock Week #1 June l7th Egg week

Thank you CSA’rs for gracing us with your reservation of a share at M’s Organic Sustainable Farm!
Below are instructions and a detail of “what’s in the bags”.
This year: the first fridge is shared by FULL&HALF SHARE CSA’rs.
Full Share: Bottom
Half Share : Top
Eggs: Side door of fridge.
Things to remember about greens:
They can be used as,
1. Topping for pizza 2. in salads or as salads 3. stirfried with onion 4. chopped up into eggs/omlets 5. in Soup 6. in pasta 7. with potatos or potato or pasta salads.
HANDLING GREENS: Greens may be kept several weeks especially if rinsed in cold water first and spun and placed in air tite containers.
LETTUCES: Keep less long but should be rinsed in cold water first and spun and placed in air tite containers.
I will take egg containers back when you are finished, if possible.
**PLEASE be careful when handling your containers as they have been recycled.
I apologize in advance for not having recipes this week, as I have leased & am working a new plot in Harvard in an attempt to make available winter squashes including pumpkins. Cross your fingers.
INSTRUCTIONS FULL SHARE:
1. take 2 bags, tied together from the bottom half of the first fridge(it is marked)
2. take eggs from the door of the fridge if you subscribed to egg share

Melody Spinach (mostly bably)
French Breakfast Radish(you make cook the greens too)
Mars Red Spring onions(use the greens too)
Dukat Dill
HALF SHARE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Take a bag from the top shelf of the fridge
2. Take eggs from the door of the fridge if you subscribe to egg share
