Logan Sqare Csa Week 10 of 16 9/1/13

Well the bad news is the deer have been topping the Sweet potato plants all year. The good news is I dug up some thumb sized sweet potatoes, steamed them and they were delicious.
Since the leaves are falling off the trees early this year, I”m thinking fall crops.
The Winter Squash will be ready, way sooner than normal so we can look forward to some nice Spaghetti Squash. I’ve already eaten one.

Squash Fritters? Whot? Sounds good to me
